Interview with Giovanna Garcia of Imperfect Action - Part Two

Giovanna no longer wanted to be consumed with sadness. She wanted to fit into this new country and speak their language. She wanted to find love and desired to change her life around.

She had no idea where to begin. She'd ask herself,

"How am I going to get out of this? How am I going to fit in this new country all by myself. How am I not going to be depressed anymore? And how am I going to find love, when I have no idea what love is? I didn't even know how to love myself."

Most of us can relate to her experience. We have all asked ourselves these questions at one point in our lives. We may have wanted something more or felt something was missing, but didn't know how to attain it.

Unlike when,
"You go to school and you want to build a rocket. You can open up a book and it tells you what to do. When you're out in real life, there is NO book." says Giovanna.
Then it occurred to her,
"You know what Gio, you're just going to have to start taking some action, and if nothing else, give it a whirl....if it doesn't, then say it didn't work."

She shares with us the story of Thomas Edison and his great invention of the light bulb. The process of developing the light bulb took over 2000 tries. Thomas Edison never quit!
".....you just keep trying." Giovanna says.

When Giovanna began her journey of Imperfect Actions, it started with baby steps in leaving the house. Even stepping foot at the front door was an achievement. Then the front door led to going to the supermarket. These little steps helped her overcome her depression. Big or small, what matters most is that we are moving forward and taking action.
Giovanna says, "And then from there, the doors opened! I realized if I can do that with Love...finding how to love myself and take care of myself, I can get to the next level."

She began to answer her own questions and changed her thoughts to a more positive direction. She told herself she would fit into this foreign country and learn English. And to do that, she would take action to learn and speak the language. And just start speaking!
She'd say, "I can't be suicidal, I'm only this young." She realized, "....there's got to be something better and I went out there swinging."
Stay tuned for Part Three
Giovanna explains how it all begins....how you can start taking Imperfect Action in your life starting today.

Many Blessings....
Hugo and Roxanne
