How would you best describe your life right now? Would your answer be filled with words of Joy, Love, Contentment and Passion? If you answered "Yes", then you're making each day count and putting life into your years. If you answer "sort of" or "not yet", then it's time to brighten up your days!
It truly only takes a few minutes a day to change your perspective on life. And that's all it really is....Perspective.
So, here's a few tips to get you started. You'll soon see the sun shining from behind the clouds. :-)
1. Count Your Blessings. Start a life-changing ritual by spending just a few moments before bed to express gratitude for the day's blessings. Maybe it was your warm, relaxing bath, your home-cooked meal, being lovingly greeted by your family when you got home or for the sunshine! It can be anything or anyone! Before long you'll notice a shift in your attitude as the night winds down. Less thinking will go into how much you have to do tomorrow, but more of what happened today that made it so special.
So, here's a few tips to get you started. You'll soon see the sun shining from behind the clouds. :-)

Sounds silly and it looks even sillier! That's the point! Starting off the day with some silliest will surely set the day in a positive direction.
3. Keep Smiling! The smiling can't stop the moment after you do it in the mirror! Make it point to smile at everyone you come in contact with...at the grocery store, post office and even while you're driving in the car. Make smile lines! And wear them proudly! :-)
4. Laugh. Sound simple? Then why is it that the average adult only laughs 4 times a day, wheras a child laughs a whopping 160 times!?! It's easy to bring more laughter into your day. Go buy a joke book, watch a comedy movie or simply Google "funny jokes." You're bound to find some funny stuff. Then, when you find something exceptionally funny, share it with someone. You just added another laugh towards your 160 goal!
5. Spend Time With Nature. We may not all have the luxury of going to the beach or taking a walk in the woods everyday, but we all have nearby parks. Heck, we have our backyards! All it takes is 10 minutes each day, just You and Nature. Notice all the wonderful beauty before you. Really look at the trees and the flowers. Take notice of the birds as they fly over head. Enjoy and breathe it all in.
Take a few moments today to focus on You, Your Blessings and Your Surroundings. Bring about more Laughter and Smiles, too. In a matter of minutes, you've enhance the quality of your days, and certainly the quality of your life. Make it a Terrific Day!
