What does Veterans Day Mean to You?

Today, in the U.S. we're celebrating Veterans Day. It was once called Armistice Day, after the signing of the armistice that brought an end to the fighting in World War I. It's also called Remembrance Day in Canada, Australia and Great Britain. Unlike Memorial Day, where we honor veterans who died serving our country; on Veterans Day, we honor living veterans and those still serving.

These brave men and women have fought and defended our Freedom, have made sacrifices and are putting their life on the line every single day for us. Today, as always, we are ever so grateful for the men and women who protected and are still protecting our Freedom. Although, every year on the eleventh month and eleventh day, the nation recognizes our courageous service men and women, we must express our gratitude everyday. Their courage, their braveness, their leadership, the ultimate sacrifice they made by risking their lives for us, is the reason why you and I are here today.

Be sure to take a moment everyday to express a multitude of gratitude for our veterans and those still serving. They need to know we care, we love, we support, we honor and are truly grateful for them. Without them, we would not have the incredible gift we call Freedom. Thank you so much for ours.

We dedicate this post to our fathers, Daniel Antonio and Jeffrey Capozzi, our grandfather, our aunts and uncles, our cousins and many of our friends, and the millions known and unknown who served our country in the armed forces. We are ever so grateful.

Many Blessings....

  4. My father in law was a disabled vet from WWII and he died at a young age due to his wounds.

My wife's family also paid a big price as the family was growing.

We need to be thankful for all our veterans and to reach out to them!

  7. I appreciate you reminding everyone what Veteran's Day is all about. I loved the video. My husband is active duty military. I saw so much of our lives together in the video. Thanks again for reminding me to appreciate what I have and not to take for granted the time that we have together.

  8. Hi Michelle,

I saw alot of what my family experience going up, too. My father was also in the military. It's difficult to watch the video without getting a little teary eyed.
We're so grateful for soldiers like your husband and for You. The person who holds fort while your husband is protecting our freedom. Thank you so very much.

    Many Blessings....
