Today, in the United States, we're celebrating Veteran's Day. It's a day we Honor living veterans and those still serving in our armed forces.
These brave men and women have fought and defended our Freedom, have made sacrifices and are putting their life on the line every single day for us. Today, as always, we are ever so grateful for the men and women who protected and are still protecting our Freedom.
Although, each year on the eleventh month and eleventh day, the nation recognizes our courageous service men and women, we must express our gratitude everyday. Their courage, their braveness, their leadership and the ultimate sacrifice they make risking their lives for us, is the reason why you and I are here today.
Be sure to take a moment everyday to express a multitude of gratitude for our veterans and those still serving. They need to know we care, we love, we support, we honor and are truly grateful for them. Without them, we would not have the incredible gift we call Freedom. Thank you so much for ours.
We dedicate this post to our fathers, Daniel Antonio and Jeffrey Capozzi, our grandfather, our aunts and uncles, our cousins and many of our friends, and the millions known and unknown who serve our country in the armed forces. We are ever so grateful.
Many Blessings....
Hugo and Roxanne

Hello Hugo and Roxanne,
ReplyDeleteThank you for reminding us of all that these people do to keep us safe. That video is very touching. What a great post. Have a very good day.

I agree we do need to remember them! It is just to bad they are needed to do what they do...
ReplyDeleteHi Roxanne and Hugo .. it's good to remember isn't it - Mum and I watched the Cenotaph service round the memorial put up for all the fallen in Whitehall .. for all the Armed and associated Services - on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteThen again we watched the Armistice Day Service, which commemorates all the war dead, but was started after the Great War - World War One - which is held in Westminster Abbey round the gravestone for the Unknown Soldier - randomly taken from the fields of France, and one of the four randomly selected for a burial with full military honours within and in the sands under the floor of Westminster Abbey on 11 November 1920.
Both very moving and my Ma was grateful I encouraged her to be awake and watch the Service with her.
Thanks - Hilary Melton-Butcher
