Today's Dreams
Are Tomorrow's Successes
Don't be afraid of high hopes
or plans that seem to be out of reach.
Life is meant to be experienced,
and every situation allows for
learning and growth.
Motivation is a positive starting point,
and action places you on a forward path.
A dream is a blueprintof a goal not yet achieved;
the only difference between the two
is the effort involved in attaining
what you hope to accomplish.
Let your mind and heart urge you on;
allow the power of your will
to lead you to your destination.
Don't count the steps ahead;
just add up the totalof steps already covered,
and multiply it by
faith, confidence, and endurance.
Always remember that
for those who persist,
today's dreams are transformed
into tomorrow's successes.

Hi Hugo and Roxanne .. Lovely poem .. but this thought popped into my head as I read the poem and saw the word dream ... it suddenly appeared vague .. and I know I've often had a dream, but sat around not sure where to go and what to do - but seeing the end result.
ReplyDeleteHaving a major burst of energy as I am now - determined to get on and finish a few other things over and above the blog .. I'm really stretching the boat out .. I suppose it's the goal of the dream, the persistence in keeping going, the ability to believe in myself, and the ultimate dream of succes .. which I don't do because I'd dream .. haven't got time for that just now!!
