Have Fun, Laugh More, Stress Less

There are so many ways to Have FUN and bring about more Laughter into our lives. We just seem to get caught up in our busy lifestyles with Work, Business, Home, Parenting, and School. This is just to name a few! If just the thought stresses you out, remember this...it's always better to have your hands full, than empty! (It never fails to turn my frown upside down!) While these activites are important, having fun is equally important. Here are some tips to bring more fun and laughter into your lives.

Send Time with the Kiddos!! They are the silliest, little people you will ever meet. If you don't have children of your own, go borrow some! Your sister, your best friend and even the neighbor probably wouldn't mind you hanging out, to keep the kids entertained for awhile. When in fact, they're entertaining you!!

Be Silly!! Remember the days when you were the Kiddo. You didn't have a care in the world. It didn't matter what people thought about you. It was fun just being ourselves. Try it! You'll be suprised how GOOD it makes you feel.

Have Friends Over!! Spending time with your dearest friends is the greatest outlet. Schedule a Weekly Game Night and rotate hosting it. Pick a game where everyone gets involved, excited and sometimes "out of control", with laughter, of course! Have your friends bring the kids, too! They can come in their PJ's and enjoy there own Movie Night!!

Don't Sweat the Small Stuff!!
If you find yourself complaining about your day's frustrations, let it go and laugh about them. Most of the time, the things that are annoying you are actually ridiculous! Taking a lighthearted approach will instantly reduce stressors in your life and bring about more laughs.

So what are you waiting for??

Have Fun, Laugh More, and Stress Less!! Amen, to that!!

Many Blessings....

  2. Great tips, Roxanne and Hugo, as always! In addition to your fabulous tips, I suggest figuring out a way to schedule a weekly (or monthly) date night with your significant other, as well as considering having "girls" or "guys" night out while your spouse watches the kiddos. Or, if you're lucky, both! Just on rare occasion, of course, and what I find is that occasionally (monthly or every other month) going out without the kids is good for my soul, and in turn, theirs.

  3. Hi Rileyzmommy!!
During one of our daughter's many doctor visits, the doctor commented on how "busy" we were taking care of a toddler and caring for our daughter's medical conditions. Hugo's response to that was "it's always better to have your hands full, than empty." The doctor was speechless. It's one of those moments I'll never forget. A wonderful reminder to be Grateful for life's many blessings.

    So Grateful you stopped by.
